These modules are meant for perl developers of plugins for Nagios (http://nagiosplug.sourceforge.net). It is meant to simplify a lot of the common functions required to do checking of a particular service.
The modules are still in an experimental stage and will be considered stable when it reaches version 1.0.
INSTALLATION
To install this module type the following:
perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install
EXAMPLE SCRIPT
"Enough talk! Show me where to start!"
See the file 'check_stuff.pl' in the 't' directory for a complete working example of a plugin script.
