Regexp::Common::URI::file -- Returns a pattern for file URIs.

SYNOPSIS

    use Regexp::Common qw /URI/;

    while (<>) {
        /$RE{URI}{file}/       and  print "Contains a file URI.\n";
    }

DESCRIPTION

Top

$RE{URI}{file}

Returns a pattern that matches file URIs, as defined by RFC 1738. File URIs have the form:

    "file:" "//" [ host | "localhost" ] "/" fpath

Under {-keep}, the following are returned:

$1

The complete URI.

$2

The scheme.

$3

The part of the URI following "file://".

$4

The hostname.

$5

The path name, including the leading slash.

$6

The path name, without the leading slash.
