Requests for Win32 ppm packages not available through ActiveState's default respositories may
be made by sending an email to r.kobes at uwinnipeg.ca; please include a subject line
like [PPM-Request], so as the message will make it through the spam filter.
In the message please give the ActivePerl version you are using; normally, only the
latest version of the CPAN sources will be used to build a package. Note that other
external repositories are available - doing a search for a package at
cpan.uwinnipeg.ca will show available
ppm packages.
There may be good reasons why a package isn't available through the ActiveState
repository - the package may not build cleanly, or some of the tests of it or of one of the
dependencies may fail. Packages will be supplied here if they require "minimal" intervention
to build and if at least "most" of the tests pass. There may thus be real bugs present
in the packages supplied here; if you find one, please send the author of the package
details.
